Toshiba, one of the largest in the field of 'Information Technologies decided to surprise seriously and already, at the CES (Consumer Electronic and Show) in Las Vegas in 2012, the biggest event in consumer electronics, announced the TV 4K, with a resolution of 3820x2160 pixels (hence the name "4K" indicating the approximation of its pixels: "4 thousand"), with the ability to make an upscaling HD QFHD (Quad Full High Definition), ie double of the standard 1080p HD for both height and width, and the ability to convert the 2D to 3D.

This new 3D TV has already made its debut in the United States and will soon be arriving as well in our markets. The new product from Toshiba is a 3D TV display with 55 "which makes use of an innovative technology able to follow the gaze of those who are watching TV with the help of special lenses that can direct the light separated into two eyes and in 9 different angles. This system will make it possible to the spectator viewing their favorite programs without the indispensable, and sometimes annoying, use goggles.

Reinforcing the objective of disseminating this new standard for the resolution of digital cinema has also thought the director Peter Jackson (Director and Producer of The Lord of the Rings trilogy and King Kong), which has decided to shoot his next film (The Hobbit, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again) in 4K, so that we will have an additional guarantee to ensure a superb picture definition.
